How much?

Without knowing the functionality or benefits of Makin’ 3D, “how much” is irrelevant.

We are not the cheapest on the market, and surprisingly not the most expensive. Makin’ 3D is a premium system with proven reliability and support.

Once you compare like for like and calculate the costs of running the system for a couple of years, Makin’ soon becomes a very appealing investment.

With no subscriptions for Makin’ Cloud, in field design, software updates etc, it soon recoups the difference against the budget end of the market. You may be pleasantly surprised.

Instead of just asking “how much?”, ask “how much is it to run over a couple of years with all the functionality?”.

Does software get updated often enough to reply to customer demand and to remedy any bug fixes?

Free software is pushed out frequently and automatically to all Makin’ units on the customer’s project.

Easy update through the cloud saves time and costs. A service technician does not need to drive out to customers for updates.
Everybody is on the same page on a project, all models are up-to-date on all Makin’ units on a project. This gives fewer mistakes, less reworks, saves time and costs.

Makin’ aim for 4 – 5 updates per year, keeping every system running the latest advancements. Not only is the tablet software updated, the GNSS and sensors are done at the same time if needed.

Can large projects be handled?

All Makin’ 3D products can handle large file sizes and gives a great overview of the entire project.

The model does not need to be cut into several parts. Giving a better overview creates better communication, better decision-making, fewer misunderstandings, fewer mistakes, less rework, less wear on machines and equipment, time and costs savings.

What types of files, and how easy are they to upload?

Simply drag and drop .XML & .DXF files directly into a project on Makin’ Cloud. The machines in the field running the project instantly get updated and notified of the change.

Not only can Makin’ handle very large project files, it can take standard .DXF & .XML files even in zip folders. There’s no need for additional software to transfer into specific formats.
